Join us for an unforgettable summer adventure and experience life on the frontier!!
The resident camp at Woodcrest Retreat offers a rustic overnight experience for ages 8 – 15. Other than the Explorer mini-week, campers enjoy a full-week beginning at 9:00 AM Monday morning and ending with a parent program at 6 PM on Friday evening.
Woodcrest resident camps are packed full of activities and interest groups. Depending on the age, new opportunities in these weeks include “The Flying Squirrel”, the “Tree Climb” and challenge course low elements. Other interest groups and activities include basketball, drama, crafts, archery, gaga, hillbilly golf, slingslot, 225’ waterslide, visits to the nature shack, water games, and swimming. Mornings begin with awesome morning worship and shelter devotions. Evenings consist of crazy group games, a fabulous theme night, hilarious Forest Follies (talent night) and evening firesides - a time of lively singing and worship with sharing by the week’s camp speaker. The popular night game “THE WAY” is included in some of the weeks.
Bunk for the night in one of our unique rustic Adirondack style shelters. Cook your breakfasts and several evening meals over a crackling campfire. Lunches are served in the dining hall.
Explorer Camp Mini Week Wednesday - Friday (3 day, 2 night)
The Explorer mini-week camp is designed especially for our youngest resident campers as a stepping stone to a full week of resident camp. A large variety of activities include archery, slingshot, gaga, carpetball, hillbilly golf, waterslide, swimming, nature activities, group games. Shelter devotions and their first experience of evening “Fireside” is a vital element of camp as well.

Trailblazer Teen Camp
The Trailblazer Camp is unique in that most day activities are done off-site. Teens will have the opportunity to learn and build their canoeing skills and enjoy a cool, refreshing swim in the Swatara Creek. While taking part in one of the service opportunities, they will experience the satisfaction and joy of serving others. A day hike excursion, energetic group games, theme night, and many other camp activities will also be part of this adventurous week. Morning worship and challenging firesides will encourage and challenge campers to an authentic relation with God.
