Day Camp
For 15 years, Woodcrest Retreat has been voted a winner for “Best Day Camp” in Lancaster Newspaper Reader’s Choice Awards!
Parents! Have you searched tirelessly for a fun and engaging place for your child(ren) to spend a week or more of their summer? Woodcrest is a safe place where you can confidently leave your child each morning knowing they are valued, loved, and cared for by staff.
The Discovery program is for ages 6-11 while the Trekkers program is for ages 12-14. Both provide a place to learn and grow here on the Ephrata Mountain. These programs are full of adventure and excitement and include plenty of outdoor activities, games, crafts, Bible lessons and water fun.
Children are grouped with other similar ages and guided by caring and trained counselors. Camp is about relationships, so we ensure that our staff have been carefully selected to represent quality Christian character, have obtained all necessary background checks, and follow PA mandated reporter requirements. Camp themes, games, crafts, nature lessons, and Bible lessons are different each week.
Monday – Friday 9 AM – 4 PM
Lunch and snack are provided.
Extended Care Service is available for day campers whose parents are employed over the hours of normal drop-off and pick-up times. Any or all of the available hours may be utilized. Cost: $25 Before Care, $25 After Care, $50 Both
Extended Care hours: Before Care: 7-9 AM, After Care: 4-5:30 PM
May attend one week or all summer long (Week 1 – Week 8)

Join us this summer at Woodcrest as you venture through exciting days at camp! Enjoy summer days of swimming, games, crafts, waterslide, nature and Bible lessons and more, alongside of new friends and a great staff. Experience and explore the great outdoors and visit our nature shack, Indian rock boulders, and adventure playground. Each step will be guided by caring and trained counselors in age appropriate groups. Come share in exciting themes and adventures at Woodcrest and connect with God, nature and others! Lunch is provided.
Cost: Tier 1: $220 Tier 2: $195 Tier 3: $170 Why three prices?
*July 4th there is no camp in 2025, so the week 3 price is $30 less

This program provides working parents a safe place to send their young teens for a summer of fun, activity, and encouragement through the Christian faith. The Trekkers engage in activities specifically designed for their age group such as frisbee golf, 9 square in the air and tree climb. Campers will also enjoy an exciting off-site trip once a week for activities such as canoeing, bowling & much more.

This specialty day camp will have you spending time out in God’s creation, with a special focus in survival activities!
Enjoy a week-long extended daycamp including dinner over the fire, survival skill building, and many classic daycamp activities. Space is very limited.
Lunch and Dinner will be provided.
Hours for Wilderness Daycamp are: 9am to 6:30pm
