Benefit Golf Tournament

Woodcrest Retreat invites companies, families, and friends to our annual Benefit Golf Tournament at Foxchase Golf Club in Stevens, PA on Thursday, May 9th. Each 4-person team will play an 18-hole round of golf in this fun-filled day. This is a best ball/scramble tournament. There is a $100 cash bonanza contest at each hole plus awards for best foursomes and plenty of door prizes.

We look forward to welcoming you to a great day of golf, networking, and raising funds for Woodcrest Retreat’s summer camp ministry that reaches 2,000 campers with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Snacks are provided throughout the afternoon and a full steak and chicken dinner is served during the award reception where prizes are given out.

2024 SCHEDULE

Early Morning Start: 7:30 (call for details)

Registration & Driving Range Start: 10:30 a.m.

Lunch: Hamburgers and Hotdogs

Shotgun Start: 1:00 p.m.

Dinner and Awards: Starts around 5:15 p.m.

Cost: Donation (suggested $200/player or $600/foursome (includes green fee, cart, driving range, awards, door prizes, lunch, dinner, dessert, snacks, and gift)

String: Foursomes may purchase 4 ft. of string for $25 and cut off the distance of a stroke to lower the number of total strokes. If there is a tie score, the team with the longest remaining piece of string wins!

Fun Extras

Cash Bonanza: For each hole there is a fun challenge. The winner of each challenge will walk away with $100 cash! Prizes announced and given out at the dinner (winners must be present). A complete list of challenges is located in the event brochure and found in each golf cart.

Lots of Door Prizes: We believe in generosity and want to thank you for your generosity. Through a partnership with Foxchase and our Tournament sponsors we are able to offer a variety of door prizes. Prizes are drawn at dinner (winners must be present).

Because of the continued generosity of our players, we are able to once again offer our Benefit Tournament on a “by donation” basis. Our goal for this year’s tournament is $50,000. That money goes to offsetting camper costs so that we can keep camp fees for our families below cost and affordable for all.

Cart Sponsor: $600
