Thank you for considering to support this faithful summer staff missionary!
Why should I consider giving support? Summer staff members have made an intentional sacrifice to serve Jesus by working at camp. They chose serving in ministry over the myriad of summer jobs and internships available to them, many of which offer higher pay for less hours and less effort. Camp staff give radically of themselves to share the message of hope found only in Jesus. We need more young people like this, and young people like this need your support to make it possible!
How does it work? Staff participating in Assistance Fund may receive support up to $2000. They ask their supporters for assistance, and any funds donated are added to the amount provided to them by Woodcrest Retreat through out the summer. Funds given go directly to the staff member you choose to support.
Who can donate? Individuals, family members, churches, and organizations.
Other details? Funds received in excess of the staff person’s maximum, or if the staff member does not complete the term of their summer service, donated money is placed in our Camper Scholarship Fund and used to provide financial assistance to under-resourced campers.
Two ways to Support
1). Download the Staff Assistance Flyer and return the completed form with your contribution by June 15th.
2). Follow the link the side menu to our online donation page. Select “Staff Assistance Fund” from the dropdown menu. In the “NOTE” section, be sure to include the name of the summer staff member you are supporting.
