Laughter & S’more

This will be an evening full of laughter, S’mores, and fun as we welcome comedian Ryan and Friends to Woodcrest! Bring your camping chair or a blanket and prepare for an amazing night on the Woodcrest mountain.

We invite you to arrive early and enjoy a variety of foods and snacks. There will be hamburgers, hotdogs and sausage sandwiches. in addition enjoy fries, drinks, baked goods, pop corn, and a variety of other snacks. All proceeds from the food will support Woodcrest’s cabin project. While you wait for the event to start, walk through one of our new cabins and learn how they will be used for building Gospel opportunities. Food vendors open at 5:00. There will be other fun and activities to prepare you for the evening as you wait for the event to begin..

The main attraction for the night is Ryan and Friends. As a busy comedian performing throughout North America, Ryan receives over 500 performance invitations and accepts 175 of these annually. Whether it’s his laugh-crazed theater show, his church performances, or his dynamic corporate events, there are two things his audiences have come to expect: a flawlessly clean show and sidesplitting comedy!

He’s been around too. You may have seen him in the Cincinnati Inquirer, the History Channel, or as a headlining performer on Disney Cruise Lines. His 2,500 (and counting!) comedy performances have taken him to six continents. His largest live performance was for over 55,000 people!

Opening our evening will be the musical talents of Dan and Amanda Esh who will take the stage at 6:00. Performing country Gospel music to provide encouragement and hope, they will draw you closer to the Lord through their songs and testimony. After laughing to the comical talents of Ryan and Friends, stay to experience Woodcrest’s famous S’moregasbord. Create your own unique s’more from a variety of ingredients and then roast it over the campfire. There are too many combinations to list. Enjoy the campfire with friends and family.

This is a free concert but there will be opportunities to support the work that God is doing at Woodcrest as we raise funds for our new cabins.  In case of bad of weather, the event will be moved to our Indian Rock Center dining hall (seating there will be limited to 400 or so people). Please follow parking signs when you arrive on camp. We do ask that you register online or by call the camp office so that we have an idea how many people will be attending.
