Father & Son Camp-Out

Lodging: Bring your tent, camper, or reserve a rustic bunkhouse.
Food: Friday dinner through Saturday lunch included (three meals and snack)
Ages: Sons ages 5-15

Want to create some special father and son memories? Come and join us at Woodcrest Retreat and enjoy a weekend together doing fun activities and getting outdoors. Some families make this an annual tradition. Our father and son weekend has the benefits of a camping trip together without the trouble of food preparation! You’ll have time for both fun and reflection.

Have a blast with your son/grandson(s) doing a variety of outdoor activities and playing group games. Our theme this year focused on overcoming fears. Using a variety of games and activities we will learn how to cast out bad fear while developing a healthy fear of God. There will be plenty of activities to bring families together, the waterslide, and so much more. Woodcrest’s pool is included for Saturday afternoon. Delicious food is provided to satisfy your manly appetites (including introducing the joy of Woodcrsips) plus teaching from the word of God to satisfy your soul!

Our 2022 theme is going to have boys and dads wanting more.  our devotional times (and games) will be based on the theme: The Fear Factor.  Expect some great challenges as we learn how our fear of God can help us overcome lesser fears. We will learn what a healthy fear of God is like and how it can enable us to live in a crazy world.
