Staff-in-Training Opportunity at Woodcrest Retreat
Staff-in-Training (SIT) 14-15 yr olds - $130/Session
Staff in training is full of fun and faith. You will assist the team of youth and young adult summer camp staff who are excited about living for the Lord and pointing others to Him. During your SIT session your team will experience fun and challenging activities, Bible studies, and instruction enabling you to grow personally and together. This program also gives you the opportunity to experience the role of many different camp staff members. Working alongside other staff and staff-in-training participants is always an adventure. You’ll earn a sense of accomplishment having done something to benefit others. And perhaps most importantly, you’ll discover more about God and who He’s made you to be. Being a part of the Staff-in-Training program will be a valuable beginning work experience. Your performance in the program will be evaluated and you’ll be given helpful feedback. Positive evaluations and participation will benefit you as you develop your resume and references. This experience will give you confidence as you pursue future volunteer or employment positions with Woodcrest or elsewhere.
Mon. – Fri. 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM . Includes lunch & snack.
Three 2-week sessions to choose from. (May attend one-session only.)
- Session I June 28-July 2, July 5-9
- Session II July 12- 16, 26-30
- Session III Aug 2-6, 9-13
Acceptance into the program is determined through an application process. Apply by May 1. Apply early - maximum 12 youth per week.
