Staff Opportunities
Choosing to serve the
Lord at Woodcrest is an important decision. Our summer camp staff
members are vital. They are the people who represent Jesus to the kids at
camp. We believe it is God who calls individuals to serve
here. Simply, but intently, ask God if He wants you to be a part of His work
at Woodcrest this summer.
We are looking
for energetic Christians, who desire to share their faith in word and deed as they serve in
various roles in an outdoor setting, full of fun, creativity, challenge,
growth, and love. Summer camp is a place of positive Christian
influence unlike any other! Come and find out for yourself!

Positions do we offer? (Read all the Job Descriptions here.)

Why
Should I Help?
Why Should I help?
Because God calls us to.
Jesus said, . . . “In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that
any of these little ones should be lost.” in Matthew
18:14. And in Matthew 19:14 Jesus says, "Let the little children
come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such
as these.”
Why here in this
community?
400,000 out of 480,000 people in Lancaster county are unchurched. (84%)
Based on information from LYNC Lancaster Youth Network of Churches).
Why kids ages 6-15?
If a child hasn’t been introduced to Jesus Christ by the time he or she is
14, there is only a 4% chance that such conversion will happen between the
ages of 14 and 18 and a 6% chance that it will occur in the remainder of
life. According to the Barna Research Group study Nov. 1999.
