The Way Extreme - Youth Event

One of our most requested resident camp events is now expanded by popular demand into an event for senior high youth groups.
Under the cover of darkness, youth will experience what it would be like to live in a place and time where being a “Christian” is illegal. Be prepared to find hidden directions enabling you to smuggle Bibles to the "underground" church while eluding the "guards". Don’t miss this powerful evening to learn about the persecuted church! Youth Service Projects
Woodcrest would love to have your youth group participate in a service project in the spring or fall. We rely on the help of volunteers to keep our grounds and buildings prepared for ministry.
There are several options available:
- Saturday – half day or full day service project
- 1 night complimentary stay - Groups serving a minimum of 4 hours on Saturday, are welcome to a complimentary use of the cabins or shelters either Friday evening or Saturday evening of the same weekend.
- Service Project Weekend Retreat: Plan to spend the entire weekend at Woodcrest Retreat. Arrive Friday evening, work a minimum of 4 hours on Saturday, and have the remainder of the weekend available for fun, games, worship and hang-out time. A one night complimentary use of the cabins or shelters is part of the package. See weekend retreats and recreation for more information.

Woodcrest Retreat provides unique retreat facilities and a variety of recreation choices for a fun and inexpensive weekend retreat in an outdoor setting.
